User Settings

How can I add new users and which user roles are there?

Where do I find the user settings?

In the navigation bar on the left side of the screen you will find the settings at the bottom. By hovering on it with your mouse, you will open the submenu, where you can find the user settings.

You can't see the settings? Then you still lack the authorization to do so. Ask your colleagues if they can give you admin access in the user settings or contact our support.

How do I add new users?

To invite new users, simply enter their email address in the "Invite new user" field and then click on Send invitation.

The new user will then receive an email, through which he can register and get access to the account.

Once you have invited a new user, you can also define their user role.

How do I remove existing users?

To remove an exisiting user, simply click on the small delete icon in the respective row.

If you want to invite a new user to multiple hotels or remove a user from multiple accounts, you would have to do this per account. In this case, please feel free to contact our support - they can do it for you in just a few clicks!

The User Roles

Users of the HQ Revenue App can be assigned four different roles - Admin, User, Read Only and Parity Check Only.

Each of these roles has different permissions or restrictions:

Admin

Users with this type have full access to the account. This includes:

  • all settings (My Hotel, Competitors, Channels, Filters, Room Categories, Users, Integrations)
  • create and edit events
  • create and delete Smart Views
  • set parity thresholds
  • create clusters and thresholds in the Area Demand
  • trigger rate updates
  • edit target settings in the Performance Board

User

This user type has access to all modules but not the settings. They can:

  • create and delete Smart Views
  • set parity thresholds
  • create clusters and thresholds in Area Demand
  • trigger rate updates
  • edit target settings in the Performance Board

Read Only

A Read-Only user has very limited access to all modules. Users of this type can:

  • only view data
  • not trigger rate updates

Parity Check Only

A Parity Check Only user, as the name implies, only has access to the Parity Check module. There they can:

  • trigger rate updates
  • set the parity tresholds

Where do I define the user roles?

Which user is assigned which role and thus rights can only be defined by Admins. In the User Settings they can select the desired role next to the user's name.
