What do I find on the dashboard and how do I work with it?
The dashboard is the start interface of HQ revenue and welcomes you with all the information you need to make safe pricing decisions and work in your hotel. It provides you with direct insights about the market, your competitors and your hotel's performance - all at one glance!
To top it off, you can freely configure the dashboard and adapt it exactly to your needs. To summarize, the dashboard provides you with:
- individual widgets for all of your needs
- free design via drag-and-drop system
- quick infos of the individual entries via mouse over
- updated display for widgets with the timeslider (0 to 31 days in the past)
How do I open the Dashboard?
The dashboard will open automatically and is the first thing you see when you log into your HQ revenue account.
You can also reopen it at any time by clicking on the top icon in the navigation bar on the left side of the screen.
With a single click, you will immediately open the default dashboard. If you have multiple dashboards, you can open the submenu and select a specific dashboard by hovering on the dashboard icon.
How do I set up the Dashboard?
When you receive your account from us, we have already set up a standard dashboard for you. You are welcome to edit it and tailor it to your needs or create your own dashboards.
Create a new Dashboard
You can create a new dashboard via the navigation bar on the left side of the screen. If you hover your mouse over the dashboard icon, you will see "Create New Dashboard" as the first item in the submenu.
Here you have the choice between 5 of our templates or a blank dashboard that you can fill with widgets based on your needs and wishes.
Edit the Dashboard
To edit your dashboard, open the widget menu on the right side of the screen. Here you can see all available widgets and click on the name to see the short info about it.
If you want to add a widget to your dashboard, click on it and hold it with your mouse and then drag it to the desired position in your dashboard.
As soon as you release the mouse button, the widget settings will open. Here you can define exactly how the widget should be displayed. You can also change the settings at any time by clicking on the small gear icon in the upper corner of the widget.
If you want to change the position of the widgets later on, you can always do this with the drag and drop principle!
If you want to remove a widget from the Dashboard, just click on the red cross 
in its upper corner.
In addition, you can change the name of your dashboard by clicking directly on the current name. With the three icons next to it you can (from left to right):
- duplicate the dashboard (the dashboard will be copied with all settings)
- favor the dashboard (your favorites will be marked with a star in the selection)
- pin the dashboard (the pinned dashboard becomes the default dashboard)
Delete a Dashboard
If you want to delete a dashboard, open the dashboard submenu in the navigation bar on the left. When hovering on the name of the dashboard you would like to delete with your mouse, you will see the small delete icon.
